Marvel has released a new picture of scene stealer and star of last week's Guardians of the Galaxy trailer, Baby Groot, in an adorable little Ravagers suit.
This is the first official image released by the studio, possibly to try and keep the Guardians movie out of the shade of the new Spiderman: Homecoming trailer, but also to help promote their charitable campaign, Heroic Acts for Heroic Causes, set up with Save the Children to bring "help and hope to kids around the world".
Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of
the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the
outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their
newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s
true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters
from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel
cinematic universe continues to expand.
Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 is due for release on the 5th of May, 2017
